Like this image very much. Love the boats almost hiding in plain sight in the foreground. Love the menacing texture of the sky - I might be tempted to render the sky a little more grey just to add to the sense of foreboding. Also love the reflection of the lights streaming down the river on the right hand side - they draw the eyes to the bridge in the distance. Only slight quibble (and it is everso slight) is the rendering og the buildings themselves - I feel you have slightly overdone the tone mapping and/or sharpenning and the end result is just a touch cartoonish. I think by working witha couple of layers you could keep the sharpness and colour in the boars and their reflections, but just tone down the buildings - especially the tower in the foreground and the tower block to te right - and the end result would be just a little easier on the eye. But that's merely my opinion! Print this huge in oil painting format and hang it on your wall with pride! Thanks for sharing.
