Such a beautiful and eloquent foreword, and with sentiments that I hold close to my heart.

Peace is after all the ultimate prize.  We all find in in different places which is just as well otherwise your garden would become highly congested Gail : - )

But seriously the ways and means of finding peace are as diverse and complicated as the means by which it is often disturbed.

Flowers though are a universal emblem of peace and I can't think of better example than Lily's, they are my wife's  favourites and mine.  These look as fresh and as fragrant as the moment that they bloomed!

And the best part is..........they always will!

Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

Your comments are always as 'fresh' and inspiring as many images can be. It is nice to know that your and your 'Mrs.' enjoy Lilies. They can be such graceful and 'melodic' flowers to me. They remind me of joy, the beauty of dance, and one who looks up to the sky, eternally grateful for the refreshing rain, and warmth of the sunshine. Some are prettier than others. These ones enchanted me. My sincere thanks for your beautiful words and of course your visit and support, always a joy to hear what you have to say Alf.

Kindest wishes always,  Gail

Gail,

Pink is supposed to have a calming effect, can you imagine how peaceful a garden might be if it planted entirely in pink.  Heaven is a garden!

Gail,  Sorry I didn't see and visit this image earlier.  You fill the frame and create a perfect color balance of pinks, magentas, purples and complementary greens.  I love the way the lilies pop out at the viewer.  I can sense their fragrance and softness.  You also have excellent depth of field in the flowers with a nice out of focus bokeh.  Super, Gail.  Have a wonderful and healthful summer.   Larry

Thank you so much for that lovely compliment! I actually was so pleased when I saw this image in my LCD screen on the camera. When I opened it on the computer it gave me such a joyous feeling. I was so pleased that I managed to capture it well. I don't always have such luck! You enjoy your summer as well. Safe travels, best wishes, Gail
