Flower

I thought this image would look good in B&W too but it simply loses too much of its charm! This is really a tremendous image. It almost looks like a painting instead of a photograph. The colors have a real pastel quality to them. The composition is very good and the stem makes for a beautiful leading line right up to the flowers themselves. Well done!

This was one of the very first images I shot with my Canon 1000D.  I am struggeling a lot to get used to another camera, as I am so used to my Finepix S5000, which I used for 8 years (and still do!).

A superb and delicate macro. Tones are amazing! The slightly grainy look works perfect here. Well worth a 6.
