Whether the empty sky that fills about half the frame is effective in

this photograph, or anything else pertaining to it. Thanks for your

time and thoughts.

Without the space, you have a pretty ordinary photograph of a tree (or two) that really has no outstanding or distinguishing features (IMO) except that it has had an unfortunate incident or two in the past.  The space makes the photograph about more than just the trees.  That space is blank, so I'll probably get something, a story, from the photograph only if my imagination is inclined or able.

Something I like to do with a sky like this is to put a density gradient in it, so that the very top is quite dark and it then lightens as it approaches the subject.  That darkness can vary in extent, breadth, and speed of transition, and each variation may create a different feeling.  It makes for some good experimentation.

Stephen, Thanks. I was of the same opinion regarding that space. Also thanks for the suggestion as far as the gradient; I'll have to give that a go.

Apart from the fine comment of Stephens ,I wished you have cloned the two sticks or poles at the lower edge of the image ,yet I have found my story in this image by that object at the ground level between the two trees,it seems to me a chair of some kind that waiting some one to meet at.

Saad, I made the same observation about the distractedness caused by the posts after posting here, and have since done as you suggested. Thanks.
