An interesting take on the David - Goliath thing.  Apparently, David (the little bully) is either fearless or stupid!  In any case, I really like the color paletet and the shadow effects.

My best,

michael

in Cuba the little man has been oppressed for 54 years and continues to this day. The only thing they have learn to do is to jump to the ocean and scape! At first the fought back and thousands were killed. Thanks to Castro we have become worldly and there are Cubans in every City and town in the world. Life is what is happening to you at the moment and most of us learn to cope and survive. Is neither good or bad , it is another experience! Great image my friend.

Two worlds, or one world with two people who live in a very different time, thousand years in between.  Very creative.  Best Regards,

Here's what I wrote above, Wanghan: This picture obviously could provoke a lot of observations and questions! As a matter of fact this is a question picture, question about the simple, common filled with rage man against the powerful and mighty who decides for his present and future and even his life and death! That relation existed through the millenniums of the civilization and still does! This situation was devastating and maybe some times fruitful, too many died and suffered, for what, did it have to happen all the time and in the end what this little man, representing the individuals from the masses could do against it! The picture implies that he obviously couldn't surpass the power of the warrior and the conclusion would be that the masses couldn't neither do anything against the will of the leaders of the mighty armies of trained and well equipped soldiers willing to fight

Thank you for your three comments!

If I remember correctly, Alexander WAS the little bully until he conquered Persia. Burning Persepolis was just an accident after a wild party night. anyway, congratulations on your continued productivity. I always enjoy a visit. Regards from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Alexander never made it here that we know of.

Hi, Robert!

This picture is an allegory of the political situation in my country at the time it was made! The constitutional name of my country is Republic of Macedonia and it was a part of the former Yugoslavia! The figures are some kind of monuments among many statues built by the party with rather patriotic background and the "bully" represents the opposition!

The saguaros are a  mistake, there are no saguaros in Macedonia neither in any country Alexander had conquered!

Thank you for your visit and interesting comment!
