Fun at Work

Nice soft colours but I am not in favor of the blurred skyline. You may have though of depth but I would have concentrated on the child and the stones to give a contrast in texture. Different thinking!!!   anyway nice image.

It's an interesting image. Everyone has a different idea on things. In this case I like the blurred background. It would have been nice to see more of her face. I don't what your feelings were when taking the image. To show her small on a big beach of rocks and to get more of the surroundings in etc.  I did a quick edit, tweaked the levels on her and desaturated the blue building in the back as it's competing for attention on the skyline. I also did a tighter crop. Just my 2 cents worth.

Thank you both for the comments. I like the edit with a tighter crop with less sky and forground. And I do have some Pics of her face (to me she has the most beautiful face being she is my daughter) but a moving around 1 1/2 year old is not easy to shoot. I found this one to be the most compelling.  thanks again  Chuck

Really strong perspective and perfect color tones. A bit too much detail/structure, perhaps, but overall a great image. Evocative.

I like it.You captured her undivided concentration in finding HER ROCK!I like the big sky and would also like this good scene with a bit off the bottom.Good work!
