Brown Bear Shaking Water Off

This was taken just after he dunked his head into Brooks River trying

to catch a salmon.

Really like the way you've captured the motion through the almost pinwheel effect of the water coming off the bottom and right of the bear...

cool. i like the "fan" effect of the water drops. I guess just to have the chance to be close to this animal is worth the experience

I suppose you had to change your clothes after this. A very effective shot taken at just the right moment.I like the radial spray here.

I just spent a week in Alaska too with the same 400 2.8 (Canon though) lens but didn't come away with anything as good as this. Bravo great capture. What was the SS? 1/500?
