JeffBryce 0 Posted February 25, 2013 A tiny drift of snow catches the final rays on the Lake Huron shore. Link to comment
WJBrowning 0 Posted February 26, 2013 Jeff love the sense of flow in the snow/ice in this lanscape. Composition and lighting just spot on. Well seen and well done for getting out into the cold conditions to get such an excellent shot. Best wishes William. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted February 27, 2013 Jeff - Excellent image. The light, contrast, composition, and vertical orientation are terrific. The sun reflecting on the ice is an added bonus. There surely are a lot of ice house out here. One Question, do you think that the large gray "splotch" in the foreground looks over processed? In Minnesota, all ice houses must be off the lakes at the end of February. Thanks for posting this. Larry Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted February 27, 2013 Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll try to visit your portfolios and comment on your photos in return. Larry, those "ice houses" are small boulders, perhaps the size of jumbo garbage bags, and I'm not sure which gray blotch looks over-processed on your monitor. The only processing is a tiny bit of sharpening for web viewing. Regards, Jeff Link to comment
marc_dilley1 0 Posted February 27, 2013 Great leading lines. The color on the ice bar makes the sale! Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted February 28, 2013 Looks completely natural (and frigid) to me, Jeff. The light on the ice and the sun rays do indeed make the shot. Link to comment
