Wagon Hill Meadows

I pass this field nearly every day, which is part of a larger conservation area in Durham, NH. A great place to walk the dog and sleigh ride in the winter. The foggy skies ruined my earlier photo attempts elsewhere, but the effect was perfect as I passed by these fields. I quickly set up near these lustrife and took a series of shots (for focal blending if needed).  Another exposure was used for sky exposure. Windless conditions allowed for a relatively easy blend. f16, slight zoom.

from an unsuccessful photo op elsewhere. An unexpected surprise.

Hi Harry, Love those luck moments when Nature reaches out and grabs you. This is surly a lucky moment, the lighting for this scene is so wonderful, the side light from the setting sun gives more depth to the colors in the flowers and the field and the softness of the haze also highlighted with color makes this scene a pleasure to look at.  Great Capture!   Best regards,  Sherry
