This was taken with a Singh-Ray Variable Neutral Density filter on a

400D with a 17-40 F4L USM lense. Any critiques welcome.

A beautiful capture! I love the serenity of the image. Given the lovely water streams, I might crop in a little to have it fill more of the frame. Well done.

Moving water gives us so many ways to express the mood of a place. You've captured well. The shot is especially interesting.

Nature did most of the setup for you! But I like how you used a long enough exposure to smooth the water. It's an idyllic outcome. Great job!

I appreciated all your comments especially the one about nature setting it up for me. I agree, where would we be without nature. I think of how beautiful each part of the planet is and how we photographers can capture and keep them for posterity.

I think we miss capturing the destruction we humans have wrought on this beautiful planet and some if its magnificent animals, like elephants, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, polar bears and whales just to name a few.

We as photographers should capture these moments to remind the rest of humanity of what they are allowing to happen. I hope you all had a great Christmas and a great start to the New Year .... Ron
