Alex_Es 388 Posted January 1, 2013 A potentially beautiful bucolic scene. It is too dark. The blured background is a mistake. In this case it distracts attention away from the rest of the composition. Uniform sharpness would have establishean harmony between all the images elements, which I sensis was your intent. DGorinstein 20 Posted January 1, 2013 An interesting effect. The almost three-dimensional feel of the foreground with the apparently purposeful blurring of part of the background. Sharpness, color and lighting are quite unique. Good play, good fun to experiment. The image itself is quite unique and eye-catching, which in and by itself is quite an accomplishment when there are literally millions of images out there, so when one stands out, for whatever reason, you have made a contribution. Well done.DG Link to comment

benjamin_kim 0 Posted January 2, 2013 A lovely landscape shot. I like the muted colors and overall feel of the image. I find it very pleasing to look at. Congratulations. Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted January 4, 2013 Simone, I know what you were trying to achieve using this blur - making the lanscape scene scene look like a miniature, a macro shot. This can be achieved by shooting with a T/S lens, I do not know if you used one. Alternatively, blur can be added, but it should be done on both sides of the picture. I attach my suggestion. What do you think ? Best regards. Peter Link to comment
simone_lenzi 0 Posted January 4, 2013 Your reading is correct ... my mistake may have been in the crop of the image that has virtually eliminated the blur in the foreground of the shot ..... how did you revisited in fact makes it more understand my intent .... thank you very much Simone Link to comment
