changing colored lighting, lots of movement, dodging the crowd, ear

plugs that keep falling out etc.

I know  and understand what are you talking about - concert photography is almost like a war photography - only there is no bullets.

Thanks for the compliment. Means a lot coming from somebody showing some nice concert photos of their own.

With many in the crowd wearing spikes like those on Gene's guitar strap, it really can be just like dodging bullets.
