Boat Reflection on Water

Water mirrors the world and changes it ever so slightly so that we can see what we often take for granted. The important thing, of course, is that you see.

Very expressive -- I like the subdued colors and the way you composed this, Trisha. Everything seems so ephemeral... Capturing fleeting, almost surreal moments is an aspect of photography that makes it all worth it...  A lovely capture indeed. Many good wishes for a healthy and happy New Year to you.

Water not only gives a slight distortion and movement to an image but it also enriches the colours and textures. This has done all of the above, and puts me right there day dreaming as I stare into the reflections.

Very well spotte and captured! that must ahve been very calm water.

Another excellent capture. We don't often think of just capturing the reflection.

It's almost a "look again" experience with the clouds suddenly being pulled and stretched like taffy across the surface of the water.

Did you see the dolphin cloud ?! Tony did it and me too.
