The pines confer a very special feeling to the landscape, there is awonderful contrast of color (green - orange) together with aconsonance in the verticality of the vegetal and mineral structures.

It is interesting to read your thoughts regarding the pines. The relief of green in a world of sand and rock. It makes me wonder though at how they survive in a seemingly barren looking terrain.  Great series!

The day we spent in Bryce Canyon indeed was probably the best in all this long trip. But I still have a couple of pictures to go, so I will wait a bit with the final conclusion.
