Hi Alain. Why so ? Willow grouse is a game bird These need preparing to eat? Why do we buy game in a supermarket all sanitised and ready I would not know how to prepare these birds . and although a bird watcher it does not offend me As for a comment The juxtapostion of the three reds Straps... boards and blood work well, it may be my poor eyes but could it take a small straighten up? Mike: thanks for your kind words! It's just that I've seen low ratings and few or no comments on PN for images depicting death of animals, although esthetically valueable in my opinion.

What do you mean by "straighten up"? The lines on the wall don't seem completely vertical?

PS I think it may be my eyes! the shading and slight vignetting may be the reason , but it was only a minor thing . Thanks for your helpful comments Regards miken

I love the photo for the colors, mostly. I've had color contrast problems with my vision since I can remember. So, when I see a composition like this, I'm drawn in.
