Hello

A very nice image. I like the movement of the gondolas and the lights. The colours are rich. It doesn't look overcooked. The scene itself is well composed. The only thing I would try to fix is the ghosting of the figures at the extreme left edge, the ones at the bridge too but they are hardly noticeable. It would take some work as it doesn't look like they moved much between exposures but it's a good image and worth the effort.

Cheers

Greg

just the right amount of movement. agree with the ghost removal, it's distracting that close to the edge, if it was further in it would not bother the eye. Great job. Love Venecia, worked it many times. Ciao.

I like this composition relative to your "head-on" alternative.  The blur of the boats contrasts nicely with the steadfastness of the buildings and plaza, and I think having both allows them to complement each other.  This doesn't really look like an HDR photo, and that's very good in my book.
