gregoryl 0 Posted December 10, 2012 HelloVery dramatic. I like the movement in the water that leads the viewer into to photo, the framing and the dark brooding sky. I like everything about it except I find it too dark overall for my taste. I'd like to see some more detail in the rocks and the upper right dark clouds and contrast in the water. My 2 cents.CheersGreg Link to comment
benjamin_kim 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Lovely picture. Very well executed. I like the deep sombre mood as you describe. This is an excellent shot and I have nothing more to add. Well done. Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted December 11, 2012 Great sense of movement from the slow shutter speed and the dark greys and blacks look superb! I might have considered a more off set position for the "horned" looking demonic rock formation that currently resides in a central position, but that is just my personal taste, The overall atmosphere of dramatic menace is communicated really well! Very well done! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
christopher_sutton1 0 Posted March 25, 2013 Added to my favourites!Very brooding. Very artistic. Love it. This is one of those landscapes where you can really let your imagination soar.Looks like a dungeon castle out on that rock there. I agree with that above comment, a little more detail on the rocks. Then again, the blackness of them helps with the feel, too.Have you tried an 8x10 crop of this, cutting out just a little of the left hand side? I wonder if it could really help the viewers eye be lead in more to the main point of your photo with the sweeping waves.Just a thought, mind you; sometimes I do an 8x10 of my landscapes and it can really make the photo have more of a bold statement.
