Taken in Fall 1999 at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Pennsylvania. Caught

the morning light just right I think, but do you feel the

sunrise/mist combo is too burnt out? Thanks for the feedback!

Whoa. There may not be a stairway to heaven, but this photo sure suggests that you could drive there. Very interesting and original.

The moody atmosphere is fascinating. The road below sort of brings it back to the real world. Point of view. Did you get it from some angles where state highway is not there at all? Makes me remember the times I was too tired to walk far from my car with my tripod is all I am saying..Constructively, Gerry

I wish I could say it was a planned shot. What I wanted to get was different from the final exposure. It was a very misty morning, on a small road leading up to Hawk Mountain. There were few cars, but when they drove through this particular cloud, it created fantastic swirls. The shots of the cars and swirls didn't really translate well. But this shot... I really like it. I thought maybe folks here would too. Thanks for the comments.

I enjoy this image, for me it conjures up the term "speed of light" - as if the light is roaring down the freeway to a destination it alone knows. Well done.
