Beautiful capture. This tree is in my mind since my childhood when I was listening to U2's Joshua tree. Hope I can take a photo like this one day for myself ;)

Great sky and impressive tree,more so when viewed larger.I like that you have positioned the moon as if it is about to be picked up by that tentacle.Bravo for a most excellent image!

Jordan, thanks for your comment on the 'polygons'. You also have a great looking photo here with the moon at JTNP. This is my next project knowing how beautiful these Joshua trees are. Stunning exposure bringing out the details of the tree before a still seemingly bright horizon.
