3 minutes printing

alan chan

The man is sitting inside his photo-laboratory, the colourful pannel is actualy a door for his Lab. When doing his printing, he has to close the little door for 3 minutes - I can imagine that the tiny little cubicle has to be air-tight in order to prevent light entering so this master need to hold his breath for a long-while during his photo-processing ! Photo taken with a P/S camera loaded with fast film.

This is a scene outside one of the many temples in Bagan - Myanmar. I

nearly missed this interesting man who was running - possibly the

smallest printing lab in the World. I snapped this shot with a point &

shoot loaded with ISO 800 film - preseted at f4.

Im impressed with how tight the shot is, considering you were using a point and shoot. I love the Welcome You sign. I agree with the previous comment this is good street photography and not a cliché.

Alan...this, to me, is flawless. Given the fact that it was spontaneous, makes it all the more impressive.
