The very bright foreground and bright skies in the background just don't convey the sense of a "storm."  I think the HDR effect is much too strong and much to evident (for my eye, at least).

Desh,

Although the greens look oversaturated to me, I do love those violent looking clouds and that burst of rain!

Has an "artsy" look and feel about it!
