Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 1, 2012 Urban landscape as captured in one of my earliest shots on the D800E. This shot was not cropped or post-processed at all, except to beresized at 1500x1001 for display on Photo.net. Comments welcome. --Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 1, 2012 ERROR: I said above that this was not post-processed in any way. In fact, I see from the original that it was brighter and that it was shot at ISO 400 (the setting for an earlier shot which I forgot to change), and so the levels would have been reduced on this version to reduce overall brightness--no big deal, but a correction nonetheless. Certainly no sharpening was applied. Shot at f/8 and 1/500 sec--so using higher ISO of 400 (although in error) did give me faster shutter (two stops or from 1/125 to 1/500). Focal length on the old zoom was at 200mm. It was shot on a tripod, but I did not use a remote or timer. Shot as a JPEG, so just having fun on this one. . . . --Lannie Link to comment
