There is a wonderful mix of expressions and emotions here. While the mother looks into the future with some concern the child seems to be wondering what the fuss is all about. The lighting and pose work well together to make this special.

Good composition and use of space.  Intersecting diagonal lines of the mother's body and the boy's body add strength to their connection. This is a fresh concept about baby-sitting!
