Phone boxes - London

The red phone boxes against the black and white scenery is a nice effect but something looks a little off to me. Perhaps it is the way the two furthest phone booths are lighter than the two close ones.

I've done some similar compositions - suggest either pure B&W or a colour - if you are shooting in low light, the background pavement stones and buildings would have limited colour and the boxes could stand out on their own. The two furthest boxes look out of place owing to their relative brightness.
