The model it's still Sarah, my 8 year old daughter wearing makeup!!:), after a Halloween party this year. (She was a scary vampire:).

The re-posted version is a 100% success, not only is the detail more evident, but yes the distracting elements have been totally eliminated.

She does have a haunting quality in those eyes ......no so scary though : - )

Great lens quality too, and they don't break the bank!

The background wasn't so distracting, but too close and kind of banal for such a profound psychological study of the little girl Cosmin! I like them both!

You did very well with Sarah's makeup, because the first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail, was - Creeee-PE!!! Even her eyes!! She did well with that 'stare' to make this a very good composition in that genre. The color choice works well for this image as well Cosmin.
