The background takes away some off these powerful eyes. There's much room to crop out the background an make her eyes much more intense. The background is too busy with that thing going from the left to thtough her head and then to her right Doesn't make sense.

Great capture, just crop tight.

I consider only the portrait that looks excellent, the light in her eyes and clarity deserve all attention.I am sure that you can do something with bg that distract from subject.I think you can rework this and the result will be for sure one of the best portrait I saw last time here.

So,I rate only the portrait because is excellent.

What EYES and intense look!I really like the use of the sepia tones and the distraction I find in the background is that light circular spot which does not keep me from sending this excellent image to my Favorites folder.

At first glance, this image made me think of the famous photograph of the Afghan woman from I think National Geographic Magazine.  Her eyes are so piercing!

This is an emotional image with a very strong personality behind those incredible eyes my friend. I feel I will love to see the color version in order to see more of her. I know that BW and Sepia and other tonalities have their charm and beauty, but to me the color tonalities are the most closer to reality. I belive that she has either green, gray or honey color eyes but will love to see them in color! Take good care. Warm regards.

Radu, Laurent, Patsy, Mehmet, Paul, David, Li, Maurizio, Anabela, Hamid, Ruud, Alberto, Jorge first of all I wanna thank you very much for your feed back, your very constructive comments and continous support.

Yes ... I know that the background is distracting but I wanted to keep the original image. I know now ... it was a mistake :)

As Radu said in a previous post I think I can rework this and repost it! I like Mehmet's classical crop, maybe I will use something like that.

My best regards to you!

The two versions of the image of your daughter are dominated by his gaze. Personally I like this with more space around it, although apparently not significant is an escape for that vampire look, in the other you do not have where to escape his intense gaze. Congratulations. See you soon. Vicente.
