w-j-li 0 Posted November 16, 2012 Excellent design. Beaufitul and shart foreground, nice and gold light on the mountain picks at the up-right. The snow adds the beauty to the scene and the clouds even shows more. Love it. Best Regards, Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted November 16, 2012 Unbelievably beautiful, with all those colorful flowers on the field. Spectacular.Cheers. Link to comment
jordanek 0 Posted November 16, 2012 Any feedback would be very much appreciated. I took this on a very early morning in Mt. Rainier National Park looking toward the Tatoosh Range. Link to comment
treyhoff 0 Posted November 17, 2012 NICE! I especially love the light on the distant mountains. My only subjective suggestion would have been to compose the rocky knoll more to the left?, but I know how it can be trying to get the flowers to work in the photo :) Very nice job with high marks. johne37179 29 Posted November 17, 2012 Jordan -- thank you so much for posting. It brought back many fine memories of hikes on the Wonderland trail so many years ago. I think the last time I was on "The Mountain" was probably in the mid '70s. I'm trying to place the location in my memory. My guess would be that if I turned around from this spot I could see Little Tahoma. Is that right? Link to comment
jordanek 0 Posted November 17, 2012 E.J. - Thanks for your comment. This was taken up on Mazama Ridge and if you turn around then Mt. Rainier is right there. If you have a look at my other Mt. Rainier photograph, that was taken a few feet from this image. Link to comment
johne37179 29 Posted November 18, 2012 That is very close to where I was thinking. If you turn to face the summit of the Mountain, Tahoma would be just to the right. Is that correct? Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted November 18, 2012 Jordon, This image is spectacular just as it is. You have wonderful light and excellent depth of field. The flowers really pop and the snow fields create nice artistic separation and connection between the perfectly captured flowers and the more distant mountains. My daughter and I drove three hours from Seattle just to get a glimpse of Mt. Rainier National Park. Although our visit was but a blink we did see displays of wonderful flowers similar to this. A real visit to the part is on my list of places to go. Thanks for this superb posting. Best to you. Larry Link to comment

adagioatmsn 0 Posted February 28, 2013 One of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen of the wild flowers at Mount Rainier. I love the sharp focus from front to back, and the lighting is just right. Well seen, well shot, well done! Link to comment
