Interesting portrait from the life!

You are right.This is a very special shot for me.On visiting this distant village in the mountains,we found only children and very few elders including this one who explained that the able bodied adults of the village were all away on the near mountain as it was harvest time.My wife offered this one some cheese,a few fruits and some of our sandwiches;she could not understand why we were offering this food,said that she did not have any money to pay and rushed back in her house to come out with the bowl in her hand,half filled with dried corn.We accepted half and she was very happy with the trade.Thank you for viewing and for commenting as always.

I read your the comment for Svetlana and indeed it is a story worth listened.

Similar happened to me in Burkina where I wanted to buy something that costs 200 but without have any banknote under 2000 (~3EUR). I had to wait 15 minutes until him changed money and brought the rest (which it was not) although I insisted to give him more. Similarly, he could not find any justification to receive more than offer.
