jerrymat 5 Posted November 8, 2012 Hasan, This is a grand and beautiful image. I intend to put a copy in my favorites folder. The hexagon shapes in the background are out of focus images of the f/stop aperture of your lens. This kind of blur effect has been given the name, Bokeh. A lens with more blades in the aperture will give a smoother bokeh, and closeup photographers debate which is the best effect. I have found that one can take the background in this type of picture and use software to modify the bokeh to get just the effect they want.Jerry Link to comment
