Leaf Lace

The earthy colours & shadows are beautiful, especially the 'lace' effect showing in the shadow - the composition works well as you framed the subject to enhance the subject - the only nit is that the focus is not sharp on the leaf itself - I love that dark diagonal line in the soil though.......

Nice composition, especially I liked the way you included the full shadow. But the depth of field is not enough, some part of leaf has no details at all. Secondly the light looks kind of washed out. That's because, I feel, you have chosen wrong time of the day. If it was early morning or late afternoon you would get much better pleasing light and sharp longer shadow.
