Big rocks and small ones.

Ragged rocks and smooth ones

Underground rocks and  those that are still 'above ground'.

Multicolored water vs plain blue.

And yet ......... there is more in common than we see.

Fun!  This is just like lying down on the ground as a child and sharing with another what pictures we saw in the clouds.

In this I see a reptile's head (upper left) with one of its eyes reflecting light and it's tongue partly out.  It's body leads off the right with parts above water and parts submerged.  It is looking at a grey lizard on a rock, considering whether it might make a good meal.

Hi Tony Well I will take a wild guess. What they have in common are atoms & molecules, the building blocks of the universe,While the items are all different they are all constructed from atoms & molecules. What I want to know is what is the prize if I win. Best Regards- Ross

Dear Tony,

You always see great things in the little things. A very calm and beautiful picture with lovely colors.

best regards Per.

Thanks to everyone.

Marco, Jerry, Per and Ross - I am glad you liked it.

It was taken in Rawdon Quebec.

Marco - glad you could empathize with the spiritual side.

Per - when you live in an area with flat farm land and a huge river, you are forced to find something to photograph.

Jerry that was an interesting game.

Ross - you win (*_*). Our prize is a world with less strife.

Great use of complimentary color here Tony and the detail in the foreground rock enhances the image. rek

Tony,

The rich gold and blue really draw the viewer in for a closer look.  The rocks simply add to context to a very appealing image.

Very striking!  And I happen to love blue/yellow or blue/green combinations.  For me, as beautiful as this is, it's the diagonal that puts this over the top.

HI Tony,    I really like this capture and the title fits it so well.  There is something of fall colors reflected in water,  the colors are a little more intense and beautiful add the darker colors of the rock and water really adds to the beauty of this scene. Best Regards,  Sherry
