This rude hut was home for a family of refugees from Mali who fled a couple of

kilometres into Western Niger, one of the poorest countries on earth where

people were already suffering a serious food shortage. The sacks are grain

distributed as food aid by Plan International.

A fine document with an abundance of golden sunshine. Unusual, the lightness of the shadows. My eyes are drawn particularly to the single quadruped sheltering under the tree...

A fine shot, lots going on here even in the background.  I too wondered about the orange shadows and thought you might experiment on it in RAW by dialing down the saturation and/or adjusting the hues. 

Just in in the event that you didn't know about this and you didn't shoot it in RAW (and assuming that you have Photoshop) just  Right click on your image and select Adobe Bridge.  Once it opens in the upper window, Right click on the image and select "Open  in Camera RAW..."

Adjust as you like then Open the image in photoshop, sharpen or whatever and save AS A NEW FILE... never change/lose your original image.
