Those two were practising patrol techniques that they will definitely use

during adulthood!! They already have the correct attitude dont you think???

Thank you for your comments!

Theodore,

I too am curious about where Mom might be? Wonderful to have an opportunity to catch these two together and it appears from a ground level position.

Great distinct details and some very good lighting!

I am surprised at the ratings though, . . . some efforts/challenges are never rewarded enough! Especially wildlife that is actually in the wild!

Regards always,

Jim j.

Thank you all for your comments! I'm truly honored! The mother had just passed by my vehicle when I took the shot. The cubs were following in a close distance...:-)

Jim.....I think I can answer your question regarding some unjustified low ratings here on Photonet. The vast majority of those who deliberately under-rate good images are mediocre photographers with poor portfolios. They seem to feel better when they under-rate truly exceptional images out of jealousy. Successful photographers in the other hand never bother give a low rate even to a bad image....they prefer to submit a constructive critique and explain this way why they think an image is bad or good!

.... an awesome capture and presentation. The angle of capture has it for me..... in that you appear to be shooting straight along the ground and into the cubs........ yet, mother has just passed you by and out of the frame.

Nah!... it's just a damn good image.......... well done.

Oh, the ratings? Who cares! Wildlife photographers know what it's all about and tell it like it is.

Best regards
