frigo 4,155 Posted October 24, 2012 This is another shot at the sun with a lense full ofcondensation.Boosting up the contrast has cleared some of thefogginess and created a more defined halo around the direct sun.Whatdo you think?Thank you-Laurent Link to comment
James G. Dainis 300 Posted October 25, 2012 In your original photo http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=16538715 you have haze over the entire photo. In this one with the raised contrast you have haze on the sides. That looks a bit odd. I think I prefer the original photo. This is still pretty good though. Link to comment

krpradu 125 Posted October 25, 2012 I have a doubt about the fact that looks so from previous image only by increased contrast,I had a look on each one few time to compare and I think that is not exactly same moment,is same position but few minutes difference maybe, and in this condition with mist that is changing quickly is possible to have this kind of light dispersion, just my opinion, the answer is your.BR Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 25, 2012 Following your comment on my first post I went back and boosted the contrast on this one to remove some of the flatness.I guess a combination of added contrast and a slightly vanishing fog from the lense could account for this as this frame,3rd down from the other one was shot maybe 30 seconds later.Again,I thank you for taking the time to view and comment on this one.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted October 25, 2012 You are absolutely right about the time lapse between the two shots and the fading of the condensation on the lense. This shot, like the other one was noticebly foggy all over and increasing the contrast level did away with most of the fog and amplified the halo. For your added info,I shot these through the window of the house so as not to loose my fog too quickly. With the colder season now here and the sunrise right in front of my house,I will get many more opportunities to experiment with this.Thank you for your knowledgeable comment on this one.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
