my fave of the 3. i still cant get past something unnatural though?i think for me i would prefer more noise , a bit more grain perhaps? Just my thoughts. I do  love the texture of her hair and the way the lighting hits it just right. my best stephanie

Thanks for commenting, Stephanie grain is something I very rarely add to a portrait, I did actually try it when I read your comment but I couldn't see what it added to the image, I have been tinkering with it a little more lately as I know it can be useful when you are printing large sizes it can add some detail and make the image look sharper.

Photographically I do think older people produce more characteristic photographs. Perhaps I am wrong and that is just your skill that makes this so good. The eyes are fantastic. A shot to be proud of for sure.

Thanks David and I agree with you old people do make for interesting pictures, she isn't far off 100 just a few more years ans she will get a letter from the Queen which is what happens in the England.

love this portrait! the lighting is wonderful and its crystal clear. It makes you wonder what she is thinking. Your processing is beautiful.
