Nice to have captured the lone one stranded in the middle of the brook.Skillful framing and with the slow shutter speed to blurr that flow, you turned out an excellent image.

Salutations-Laurent

Bob,

I usually don't get very excited or attracted to very many images of leaves flowing down a stream, and usually just pass them over. However, yours here is an exception.

The lighting is excellent and you've captured the "flow" very well. I especially like the overall subtle tones highlighted by the Fall colours of the leaves.

Keeping this one!

Regards always,

Jim.....Thanks for the inspiring comment. In a couple of months the yellow leaves will turn a reddy brown, contrasting well with the different shades of green in and around the creek. Regards. Bob

"Nice to have captured the lone one stranded in the middle of the brook."

Reality check: The image is nice but physically placing a pristine colorful fall leaf on a rock in a stream or a pool at the bottom of a waterfall and having it appear as lower foreground interest in a photo is an old cliche' constantly done technique. Its not a "capture" of "the lone stranded" leaf. It was put there and staged as though it were.

If you didn't notice this before, you will in the future.

Hi Bob,

A nice result using the stopped down lens, allowing the longer exposure for the smooth water effect.

For me, this image is interesting because of the many elements present.

Nice presentation.

Best Regards,  Mike
