I love the shot -- good capture; the face, the eyes and the expression is truly beautiful to behold.  That said, if you don't mind my saying so, I find it too overworked with special HDR type effects... it doesn't need that, rather, I think it needs a "soft touch".

Hi Hamid thanks for stopping by, I wanted a hard image for this not a soft one as he is a brick layer I wanted the image to have impact. This isn't a HDR or tonemapped, it's just a very sharp 50mm prime which I am very fond of for these types of pictures, no effects at all :)

I see your point, Simon, and on a fresh second viewing I like it even better.  Though I still find a slight out of focus on the back wall may detract less from the focus on the subject.  Very interesting portrait.  Very expressive, the eyes, expression, hands, ring on the finger, all resonate.  My apologies for my technical misinterpretation. No problem Hamid that's what it's all about isn't it having differing views? I shot this at f2.8 as it was such a dull and overcast day which is why the wall is a little softer.
