krpradu 125 Posted October 16, 2012 I like the richness of colors here,I am very curious:is this the color you have seen with your own eyes there?,is very nice with this long grass in wind, not to forget the bonus here, your companion.BR Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 16, 2012 Thank you for your comment and interest. This color of this grass(and the dog) had not been changed in PP as you can see by some of the green percolating through the general reddish/yellow fiber;the photo has been given a touch of saturation and contrast. This marsh grass is in an area subjected to salt water tides and can be totally submerged at high tide. The uneven pattern you see here is the result of soaked grass having been flattened by high winds.......makes for an interesting photo scene.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted October 17, 2012 Good composition and color, with the dog adding interest. Foreground looks oversharpened, with a bit of the 'jaggies'. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 17, 2012 Thank you for the comment. You may be right about the sharpness of the grass and I'll kick my antique screen which showed it(and others) nice."jaggies"?Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
vezio paoletti 0 Posted October 21, 2012 beautiful image thanks to an accurate composition and stunning colors. just the horizon line hangs a little on the left ... congrats vezio Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 21, 2012 The horizon here is a little tricky;from about the center of the image to the left it disappears behind the high grass on the much nearer sandbar but you could be right as the corrective tool I am using is not so fine tuned and can overcorrect.I thank you for the observation and the kind comment.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
