ndj 0 Posted October 20, 2012 This is an outstanding shot Birte! I did notice the crooked horizon, but the emotional impact of the image far surpasses any technical flaws. Extraordinary work! All the best,Neil Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted October 20, 2012 Good Morning Birte, This has some very human emotion attached to it. The way the seal is laying there eyes closed and wrapped in its arms just conveys a relaxed and secure feeling, as one of the other posters said no Polar bears around. The BG is outstandingly beautiful and completes yet another great shot. Take care Birte.Best,Holger Link to comment

mirkal 1 Posted December 16, 2012 Dear Birte, I have not reviewed your portfolio for some months and I lost many fabulous images. This one is just amazing, what a great composition and it looks like that I guess sea-lion was also cooperating a lot. It is my dream to go there at place where animals are still not scared from people, I hope we will keep it that way. It is beautiful and satisfying at the same time, animal in its habitat and not looking at people like on the worst enemy. Excellent work. Link to comment
