Fall Color in Bishop Canyon under an intense sunset.

It looked like it was ready to snow and according to the weather man it was supposed to snow last night here. It did not but maybe tonight, we just got a lot of atmosphere that was perfect for landscape photography!! Not too busy in the canyon while the light was getting good, most folks had left since it was cold and overcast.

wonderful colors and tones. i have a discussion with a friend of mine, and he says, it's really difficult, almost impossible to make sharp images on focus distances bigger than 200 mm. I mean sharp on 100% view. What do you think? Is this one tack sharp?

This is 200mm and I'm not big on over sharpening for the web.  If you click on the image it becomes larger and is a lot sharper then photo.net resized image.  It's very easy to create sharp images over 200mm with a good lens and focusing properly.
