Flower in Black and White

This was taken in late afternoon. I liked how the sun seemed to make

the petals glow. I did convert this from color to black and white and

was pleased with the results. Comments, suggestions welcome. Thanks!

delicate looks like paper.

This looks so delicate.

I would have burned out the white piece in the lower left corner as its a bit distracting and sharpened it more, but I like how the light falls across the petals and shows good contrast between the shadows and the highlights.

I like the black and white image.  It makes the flower look so delicate.  I agree that you could burn down the lower left.  I just posted an image similar to this for critique at:
