lonebearimages 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Simply put, this is exquisite! An absolutely sublime black and white image, that has some fabulous abstract qualities. Well done, Tim! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
timzeipekis 5 Posted September 16, 2012 I was a bit disappointed at the lack of sharpness. I usually shoot with a tripod, but handheld for this particular shot. Other than that, I felt very much like you do.Thanks again! Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted September 16, 2012 I wouldn't beat yourself up too bad. Even with a tripod, I think you'd have had the same competition between DOF and overall sharpness, as you are up close and personal with the plant. What makes it work so well, to me, is that the eye naturally moves from the less sharp foreground at the bottom, to the much sharper middle and top of the image. Frankly, it is the tonal qualities and abstraction that carries the day so effectively. Its a keeper, to be sure. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
