50's photo

I like everything in this except the cabinet which looks kind of 70/80s to me (I could be wrong though). Otherwise this is pretty cool.

A most excellent image! great styling, composition, color and lighting, a well thought out and nicely crafted work, I would really like to see more.

Really nice image and love the depth of the colors.  One problem though.  The cigarette is wrong....horribly wrong!  It is way, way, WAY too long.  In the 50s they barely had short filtered cigarettes.  They did NOT have 100s or 120s or however long this one is. 

I'm old enough to remember the 50s (as a CHILD!  not THAT OLD!) and this really jumped out at me. 

Even though the cigarette might be too long (could be a special brand with extra long filter?), I love the setting of this photo. The colors and composition is brilliant!

About the cabinet you're probably right about it not being from the 50's, but I don't think 80's. More like 60's -70's.

About the length of the cigarette. Originally I wanted a cigarette holder, but they didn't have any at the tobaco store, so I went for  an extra long instead =). Obiously I should have gone for an ordinary instead =).

It pleases me to hear that you want to see more from the series. I'll try to upload another to my album.

what a lovely colors! seem a paint.... really original work

Despite the cabinet and cigarette, this picture has, for me, a really authentic feel to it.  I love the colours and the PP work.  Look forward to seeing more.
