donna pallotta 108 Posted September 4, 2012 this is such an effective bw, Carlos; fg is very naturalistic, and allows nature to create a stylized composition. your tones are gorgeous and spot on ;-} dp Link to comment

John Peri 1,029 Posted October 5, 2012 I have difficulty describing such works because they touch me more deeply in the emotional sense than through any attempt to analyse them more graphically. The interplay between vertical and horizontal lines, shadows and tones, light and dark areas seems rich in complexity, yet they combine together to convey a message of refreshing simplicity. There is a natural balance and harmony in nature that is hard for us to reproduce when we try, whatever the endeavour, but you have succeeded in capturing it here. Against the wind, but with the wind too. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted October 6, 2012 I am flattered by your insightful comment on my photo, you make me observe more and more profoundly this image, trying to catch the moment again, when the wind of the patagonian steppe was blowing furiously, meanwhile the dry, small, hard vegetation, trying to survive this fury. Really a test of character. Thank you very much my friend. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted October 6, 2012 You know that we can catch what we are looking at through the viewfinder only few times, and never as well. But in this opportunity, for my own surprise, I could capture exactly what I was looking at. Luck, good luck, I guess, but I love the mood of this image too. Thank you very much for your encouraging comment. Link to comment
