Was not shot with my Yashica. I borrowed one of the new digital cameras that we got in (I don't like them that much), a new Nikon 5700. This is one quick shot I took with it this afternoon.

The windows behind him have delivered a two fisted blow - first by providing some background distraction, including the horizontal bar intercepting his head above his left ear, plus it looks like it's bouncing off a wall or something off camera to the camera's right and providing that little triangle of light by his temple. The previous comment is right about the face being a tad dark. A reflector in front of him and to his left a bit would fill it in nicely without killing the natural light appearance.

To be fair, I do like this. It looks like it could be a good background shot for a business journal.

Regarding the camera, you aren't going to have any trouble convincing me of the toy like feel of modern cameras. I'd like to find the guy that designed the first "ergonomic" body and give him a swift kick to the hind end. I'll take one of those old, heavy, metal bodies any day. :)
