I struggled deciding how to compose this image of an anemone shrimp. I

wanted an angle that gives the shrimp some character and uses the

background color and texture of the anemone.

 

I'm pleased with this result, but I'd appreciate any tips that might help the next

time I get an opportunity like this one.

For some of us this kind of subject are for sure not at all easy to have,I like this series you did that shows a different and interesting world.Thank you for your time on my work too,wish you good light for more good photos.

You have yourself a beautiful subject and background.  My only suggestion would be to isolate the shrimp subject by getting down on its level putting it against a blue/black background, thus using the anemone as a sort of substrate.  I really like the colors here.
