Vlado 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Lovely composition, good contrast and toning. Might be even better with lanterns cropped out. Link to comment
philip_coggan 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Well there's nothing wrong with this, in fact it's very good. If you really want a suggestion, I'd personally go for pure black and white, as I sense a greenish tone to this - barely noticeable, and perhaps I'm mistaken. Link to comment
lifestylla 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Thx for your comments Vlad and Philip, yeah, "pure black and white" may be better but I thought black background of restorant gives enough contrast to photo, thx again :)tural. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 26, 2012 Very good composition Tural. Pure black and white may be better? I don't know? but I think the lanterns are just fine. That is what was there on either side of the doorway and with those arches on the other side of each, may be a bit tricky. If I was to clone anything out, it would be what appears to be a number '4' in a black frame right at the top of the image. You cannot see the whole number, so perhaps it would look better without it. Other than that, I so like it very much. Link to comment
lifestylla 0 Posted August 26, 2012 thx for your fine and amiable critique as always, Gail, I didnt notice that number, without it, may be better as you said :) Warmest regardstural. Link to comment
pemongillo 0 Posted August 26, 2012 Hi Tural. I like this image very much the way you have it. I have one minor suggestion and one a bit larger. I think I would like to be able to read the sign in the door. Perhaps I could if the image was larger, but I would try a little more contrast in the sign. If if becomes distracting that way, then no harm done, just return it to the present state. The larger problem I have is that the image seems to be tilting slightly to the right. This bothers my sense of symetry. I would try to straighten that out either with a slight rotate to the left or with the transform tool. Great shot and thanks for sharing. Link to comment
lifestylla 0 Posted August 26, 2012 Thank you for attention to this, you are right, I didn't notice such discrepancies, didn't seek for perfect symetry, without them, yes, may be better, in sign: açılış-open and kapanış-closed in turkish, but I guess you wanted contrast for better quality of photo..Best regardsTural.
