Gail, this image works very well as a composite, the tittle is very appropriate and suites the image well. The use of a cracked layer also adds to the story. Iam drawn tohereeyeseven though they are not the dominating "first glance" element. Very very good work Gail. Best Regards Richard

Unique and interesting presentation. Quite interesting warm colors, saturation on top of soft transparent background.

Beautifully done Gail. The subtle inclusion of images is wonderful.

The prologue adds to the depth of appreciation.  It would be interesting to know how she responded to seeing your lovely image.

Thanks again for sharing.

I really like the translucent quality of the image, there is a haunting clarity to the back image that invokes a feeling of warmth that must have been influenced by the motivation behind it. And the subtle butterfly is a lovely touch.

Compliments and warm regards

Thankyou for those lovely words of critique. My daughter doesn't have a computer or even Cable, so as of yet I am not sure if Shaelyn has seen it. I sent a copy to my daughter's phone but I do send a lot. I've printed one out for Shae for when I see her next. I am sure she will love it. She speaks often of her Great Gran, even though the last time she saw her was in hospital, and she was not well, Shaelyn seems to look past that. My daughter bought Mom a beautiful (higher priced-better made) stuffed toy bunny from one of our popular bookstores for my Mom to hold while in hospital. Mom loved it. Shaelyn sleeps with it now, and brings it even to our house when she stays over. She made a point of showing it to me last time she was here, saying that it makes her feel 'cozy' and 'close' to her 'Great Gran'.
