Great idea and well done. I am not an expert on composing, so I do not know how to solve the problem of her right foot, which seems to be hovering above the ground - but it is interesting to note that with a picture like this, I can't help but try to find out how it was done, sort of like watching a magician do his work. I wonder if that effect might be less if the woman in the photo was also in b/w? Would I be inclined to accept it more as a single piece of work? (and I admit, I am assuming that I am not the only one with this reaction). However, when all is said and done - it is a great idea, well executed and a joy to look at!

Agree with Otto and others that it's a great idea, and while I'm no expert on compositing either (so unfortunately cannot offer any practical suggestions as to how to overcome this), it looks too obvious that the forefront figure is imposed on the background image.
