alfbailey 4 Posted July 20, 2012 I love the position, the perspective and the proportions you have employed here are first rate, the flower really seems to peer in at you from the corner. There is a percieved softness that has nothing to do with focus, more a softness of the textures that looks so appealing and inviting. A real delight to view!Best Regards Alf Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted July 21, 2012 Hi Alf. Many thanks for your thoughts on this - It's taking a bit of time to get used to a new lens but really pleased you liked the results and the positioning of the flower! We had a little bit of sunshine that day and I thought - better get outside a bit quickly! Best wishes. Sarah. Link to comment

terrygilroy 0 Posted July 23, 2012 A pleasure to view, I might have cropped it a bit tighter and I feel uncomfortable as I think it looks upside down - that's just me.Very well exposed, best wishes from Scotland Link to comment

sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted July 24, 2012 Terry & Emil. Many thanks for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts on this. This little flower was found growing in a bush and in Alf's words it was peering down at me in this angle, so thought I would take a photo before the sun went in. I think there could also be other cropping options at a later date.Best wishes. Sarah. Link to comment
